Bethie's Got the Blues

Joanne Langlois & Heather Haynes
Bethie´s got the blues - but not for long! Join Beth in her quest to battle boredom and be swept away in this whimsical tale that packs a whopper of a message. Original acrylic on canvas paintings chronicle the journey of one little girl determined to make the most out of a lousy situation. Vibrant colours, exaggerated brush strokes and texture you can almost feel combine to make Bethie´s world one of the most enchanting places you´ve ever seen. Joane Langlois is a graduate of Queen´s University and the Public Relations program at Humber College. Joanne lives in Kingston with her husband, Paul, guitarist for the music group, Tragically Hip. Heather Haynes is a popular Eastern Ontario artist who studied art at McMaster University. She lives and works in Gananoque in a 19th century schoolhouse with her husband and two children.
