The descriptive, energetic language of Alfalfabet brings to life the diverse world of agriculture with the help of its countless characters and plentiful plants. Bold illustrations convey the larger, bird's-eye view of agriculture as well as the intricate details. An alphabet format with linking lines for each letter draws in new and emerging readers, while questions and facts encourage older children to find out more and draw from their own experiences. A glossary at the end of the book directs readers to go back and find the words from agriculture, giving the book an interactive element.
